    Join Our Team as a Locum OB Hospitalist in Worcester, MA Make a Difference in Women's Healthcare


    Are you a dedicated OB Hospitalist seeking a rewarding temporary opportunity? We are actively recruiting a skilled Physician to provide exceptional obstetric and gynecological coverage at a leading healthcare facility in Worcester, MA.

    This vital role plays a crucial part in ensuring high-quality care for women during critical moments of childbirth and GYN emergencies, contributing directly to positive patient outcomes.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
    Cover emergency GYN cases with proficiency and professionalism.
    Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including MFM specialists, NICU staff, and midwives.
    Serve as first assist during surgical procedures when needed.
    Back up midwives and support staff, ensuring seamless patient care.
    Utilize PBAR or Cerner EMR systems for documentation and communication.
    Participate in on-site MFM consultations (4 5 days per week) with courtesy privileges.


    Required Skills:
    MD or DO degree with valid medical licensure to practice in Massachusetts.
    Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
    Proven expertise in hospital-based OB/GYN care, including emergency scenarios.
    Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
    Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.


    Nice to Have Skills:
    Experience with level 2 NICU environments.
    Familiarity with PBAR or Cerner EMR systems.
    Prior experience as a first assist in obstetric surgeries.
    Skills in managing complex GYN cases and emergency interventions.


    Preferred Education and Experience:
    Medical degree from an accredited institution.
    At least 2 years of hospitalist OB/GYN experience.
    Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is a plus.


    Other Requirements:
    Valid medical license for Massachusetts.
    Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
    Willingness to start on 12/31/2025.
    Reliable transportation and ability to cover scheduled shifts.


    This exciting opportunity offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $195.00, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time in line with applicable laws, and reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and other eligible expenses.
