The Nutrition Host is the primary liaison between the Food & Nutrition Services Department and the patient.The host plays a key role in providing patient food preferences within the parameters of the therapeutic diet.

- Obtains menu selections from patients in a timely manner.
- Makes appropriate decisions at patient bedside regarding food requests and preferences based on the patient's diet order.
