    The Rehabilitation Center at Norman Regional Health System is a comprehensive inpatient rehab unit. Our goal is to help our patients get back to living their life.

    Job Summary


    • The Occupational Therapist assumes responsibility for the ethical and cost effective management, delivery, documentation, outcomes and communication of patient care within the scope of practice of their respective disciplines
    • Organizes and conducts medically necessary occupational therapy treatment programs
    • Supervises occupational therapy assistants and technicians in assisting with aspects of treatments
    • Works closely with other hospital staff in coordination of patient care.
    • This position requires population specific competencies.
    • Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.
    Qualifications

    Education


    • Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy
    Licensure / Certification


    • Occupational Therapist graduate eligible for Oklahoma licensure
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
    (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience).

    Compensation

    * $50 an hour flat rate
