Occupational Health Lead - Nurse Practitioner

As Occupational Health Lead - Nurse Practitioner, you will be trusted to provide nursing services and first aid to employees or persons who become ill or injured at work facilities and industrial plants at our Manufacturing Facility in Houston, TX
Maintaining appropriate clinical standards and following the guidelines established by the Company policy and procedure manuals.

• Ensuring that all aspects of care have respect for personal values and beliefs and are focused on the individual needs of each patient.
• Eliciting and reviewing information about the patient's medical history.
• Ordering or completing various tests, analyses, results, reports, and diagnostic images to deliver information on a patient's condition promptly to determine appropriate treatment and follow-up.
• Promoting health by educational instruction as well as advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for the prevention of disease.
• Ensuring all entries into the medical record whether electronic or on paper are legible, complete, dated, timed, and signed with appropriate credentials.
• Participating in department quality improvement activities, and staff educational programs, attending departmental meetings, and demonstrating and maintaining clinical competency in the delivery of patient care services by Company guidelines.
• Participating in Peer Review and Chart Audit processes as designated by the Medical Director.
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs.; The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST

Nursing Degree or related field preferred

• Current active state Registered Nursing license: Occupational Health Certification preferred.
