- Ensuring that all aspects of care have respect for personal values and beliefs and are focused on the individual needs of each patient.
- Eliciting and reviewing information about the patient's medical history.
- Ordering or completing various tests, analyses, results, reports, and diagnostic images to deliver information on a patient's condition promptly to determine appropriate treatment and follow-up.
- Promoting health by educational instruction as well as advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for the prevention of disease.
- Ensuring all entries into the medical record whether electronic or on paper are legible, complete, dated, timed, and signed with appropriate credentials.
- Participating in department quality improvement activities, and staff educational programs, attending departmental meetings, and demonstrating and maintaining clinical competency in the delivery of patient care services by Company guidelines.
- Participating in Peer Review and Chart Audit processes as designated by the Medical Director.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs.; The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
