- Operating and managing NRP techniques during DCD organ recovery procedures.
- Collaborating closely with transplant teams, Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs), thoracic and abdominal surgeons, and other clinical partners to ensure superior organ viability and performance.
- Demonstrating clinical precision, meticulous documentation, strict adherence to ethical and operational standards, and active participation in quality improvement initiatives.
- Staying current with the latest advancements in perfusion technology and NRP protocols.
- Minimum of five years of experience in clinical perfusion or a related specialty, with strong knowledge of DCD protocols and organ procurement processes.
- Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) credential (ABCP Certification) required.
- Demonstrated excellence in critical thinking, problem‑solving, and communication—particularly in high‑stakes, fast‑paced clinical settings.
- Ability to thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams and adapt to evolving NRP technologies and procedures.
- Competitive salary range: $180,000 to $200,000 annually based on experience.
