Job DescriptionA diversified international avionics supplier to civil, military, business and commercial aircraft parts and instruments is expanding its team of skilled Electronics Technicians. This is a Direct hire position with company benefits available upon hire once company eligibility is met. Additionally, the position position has both first and second shift availability.

1st Shift-8am-4:30PM

2nd Shift- 3PM-11:30PM + $1.50 per hour differential

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for calibration of instrumentation, troubleshooting and repair of customer owned units to component level of all analog and digital circuitry.
• Follow guidelines and procedures of FAR 145 repair station, interface with engineering directly
• Solve problems and validate Acceptance Test Procedures
• Utilize the correct software tools to adequately test the unit.

Requirements:
Qualified candidate should have the following background and experience:

• Two (2) years technical or equivalent education.
• Three (3) to 5 years experience in testing and or maintaining electronic component equipment.
• Experience with Surface Mount Technology and through hole solder technology, required
• Familiar with video and Ethernet circuitry troubleshooting (Flat Panel Instruments).
• Required strong background in electronics troubleshooting to component level.
• Experience with ISO 9000.
• Must pass eye exam.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Completely fluent on the use of all electronic testing equipment, for example, scopes, multimeters, power supplies, frequency counters .
• Knowledge of additional related test equipment preferable

DESIRED

• Experience working in the aircraft avionics industry.
• IPC-610 Certification.
• RF experience highly desired
