All Inclusive Benefits (start day one) Student loan repayment, tuition reimbursement, FREE college education programs, retirement savings, paid paternity leave, fertility benefits, back up elder and childcare, pet insurance PTO/Holidays,and more for full time and part time employees South Lake Hospital has been selected as one of the Best Places to Work in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare Schedule: 2nd Shift 3:00pm - 11:00pm Responsibilities Essential Functions Works with other trades as assigned Collaborates with outside contractors as job permits Works within the OSHA safety standards Requisitions relevant supplies and tools Solicits assistance of other Engineering department personnel for the efficient completion of assignments Performs routine and emergency repairand maintenance on structuresand equipmentin assigned areas Assists other engineering tradesas required by workload or emergency situationsincluding inclement weather conditions Detectsand reports faulty equipmentimproper operationsor unusual conditionsto proper supervisor Assists in maintaining records to ensure compliance with state,federal,and Joint Commission regulations Coordinatesconductsand documents all fireand life safety measures throughoutthe facilityincluding fire inspections,and procedure in conjunctionwiththe Safety Security departments Trainsother engineersin specific skillsconducted inservicesas required Maintains equipmentand work area in aclean orderly condition Followsall standards prescribed safetylegislations including respondingto Code Calls Performs minor repairs from verbal or written requests Maintains reasonably regular,punctual attendance consistentwith Orlando Health policies,the ADA FMLA andrelevant federal,state local standards Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies procedures Participatesinscheduled department meetings Maintains confidentiality securityof alldata information relatingtofacilitymedical staff patients Abidesbyallevant facilty policies procedures This position requires trainingin followingareas blood-borne pathogensfire safetiright-to-know chemical hygiene infection control Qualifications Education Experience Required High school graduate orequivalent Must have valid Florida driver license be insurable under Orlando Health insurance carrier requirements standards Maintenance Mechanics unable maintain this requirement after at least days employment must sign No Driving Document will be maintained team members department file remain ineffect until approval drive given by insurance carriers determined during routinedriving record checks Three years experience required involving trade applications mechanical work include automotive industrial hospitality One year experience required if trade vocational school graduate non-trade-specific
