    • Day
    • Outpatient M-F, 8-10 hour shifts
    • Inpatient 7 day/week coverage, 4/10 hr, 5/6-8hr (Sun-Weds or Weds-Sat)

    Requirements:

    • Requires a bachelor's or master's degree and is certified as a physical therapist
    • Licensed in Florida
    • Preferred experience in adult & geriatric care, including inpatient acute care and/or outpatient

    Additional expertise includes diagnosis in musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary fields.


    About the Job:

    A Staff Physical Therapist evaluates and plans effective physical therapy programs for patients based on assessments and post-discharge needs. They maintain professional expertise and adhere to the policies of Lower Keys Medical Center and the Rehabilitation Services Department.

    • Evaluating/assessing patient needs and formulating treatment plans
    • Providing therapy services
    • Working with physicians, case managers, and adjustors
    • May supervise assistants, aides, and trainers
    • Reports to a manager

    Lower Keys Medical Center is accredited by various institutions and has received multiple quality achievement awards. Established in 1971, it offers 167-bed acute care with emergency services, laboratory, radiology, and medical transport.
