    JOB SUMMARY
    Manages a variety of general office accounting activities and responsible for accounts receivable for IL/AL and accounts payable. Compiles and maintains records by performing the following duties.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

    Provides quality Customer Service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in a manner to ensure satisfaction.

    Obtains and mails invoices and statements for residents. Explains resident statements to new residents as necessary. Answers all resident inquiries.

    Prepares analysis of accounts, as required. Assists in monthly closings.

    Checks and approves all vouchers for payment.

    Answers all vendor and resident inquiries.

    Prepares accounts payable checks. Prints accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.

    Calls and/or mail correspondence to vendors as necessary in order to update accounts

    Prepares daily cash deposits and fills out cash control sheets Performs bank deposits and files bank receipts.

    Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications.

    Obtains and mails invoices and statements for residents timely and accurately.

    Prepares activities reports for guidance of management.

    Calls and/or mails correspondence to customers as necessary in order to update accounts.
    JOB REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamental of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry; ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and procedures manuals, safety rules and maintenance instructions; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization


    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions; ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
