- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of professional related IT experience
- Licensing and vendor management for software applications
- ServiceNow ticketing system experience
- Knowledge in server support (Win Server and Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11, and Microsoft Office 365
- Basic knowledge in SCCM, managing GPOs, and Active Directory management
- Experience with VB, PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting experience
- SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle database experience
- Vendor management, licensing, opening POs.
- Aligning with corporate IT to look at renewals.
- Server management of server that holds the licenses.
- Getting involved in SOX audits.
- Taking ownership of all of the applications, working with the internal team to assess and renew accordingly.
- Upgrading servers as needed

Position: Business Applications Analyst
Location: Akron, Ohio (5 days/week onsite)

Insight Global is seeking a Business Applications Analyst for one of our largest clients in Akron, OH. They will be responsible for supporting day to day operations and maintenance of around 100 engineering applications. This includes upgrading versions of the tool and eventually the team is looking to consolidate from 97 to 66 applications eventually and optimize the licensing. This person will be supporting all North American applications in the company. The work itself will be allocated around 80% in license management and 20% in day-to-day end user support.
