POSITION:
Speech-Language Pathologist (Home Health)

TYPE:
Part Time/Per Diem

LOCATION:
Stockton, CA and surrounding areas

PAY:
Competitive per visit rates plus mileage reimbursements

Dictation Charting:
Allows for quicker charting, promoting a better work/life balance.

Essential Functions:
- Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop customized treatment and therapy plans for a diverse patient population.
- Conduct screenings to identify voice or speech issues.
- Educate patients and families on speech disorders and their underlying causes.
- Maintain detailed records of patient conditions, care plans, and progress.
- Provide updates on progress to relevant parties, such as family members, educators, or healthcare professionals.

Requirements:
- Hold a Master's degree in Speech-language Pathology.
- Compassionate and adept at creating individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under supervision of a licensed professional.
- Possess an active California Speech & Language Pathologist license.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in the field of Speech and Language Pathology.
- Thorough knowledge of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatment methods.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using computers, particularly patient and healthcare databases.
- Reliable Transportation and Auto Insurance.
- CPR Certification.
- Good computer literacy and ability to complete EMR documentation efficiently.
