Hours will be: 12pm-8pm Monday thru FridayAspire Afterschool Therapeutic Program mission is to help children/adolescents and students who are struggling academically and/or behaviorally. We are an agency committed to quality gender-responsive, trauma-informed care to our clients with emotional and behavioral health challenges.
Overview of Responsibilities:
Promoting the mission of Aspire Afterschool Therapeutic ProgramUnderstanding the community in which Aspire operatesEnsures the educational and therapeutic needs of the students are metOversight of the continuing operation of the schoolLeading the staff of the schoolOversight of the quality and continuous improvement of the school and its educational programsEnsure that the school meets and exceed accreditation and other regulatory standardsParticipation in budgeting and financial management of the school
Other Duties:
Works effectively with the CEO to ensure effective school operations in accordance with the schools and parent company mission and vision.Communications clearly and promptly through telephone, email, and other methods of communication in a way that fosters and promotes a collaborative work culture.Works with CEO to ensure sound spending practicesAssist in development of positive problem-solving strategies for the schoolServes as the leader of
Aspire Afterschool Therapeutic Program:
Effectively and efficiently leads the school community in achieving the mission of the school.Build a school culture that is characterized by a welcoming atmosphere in which respect, disciplined behavior, hard work and high achievement is expected of students and staff.Fosters innovation and improvements to the educational program that enhance student achievement and the school's mission.Effectively involve staff, parents, and students in implementing the curriculum and educational programs.Implementation of testing and evaluation of students on a regular basis and in a timely manner.Hiring, vetting, and interviewing of staff to include directly, effectively, and appropriately managing the professional teacher staff.Development of Professional Development Plans for the teachersAssist in job description development, tracking of performance, and co-supervision of teaching staff along with the Director of Education.Community Involvement:
Solicit parents in an educational partnershipCreate a parent volunteer programResolve problems that creates a win-win situation for parents, students, and staffDevelop reasonable and appropriate standards for parent accountabilityCreation of parent friendly communications using Class DoJo
Personnel Management:
Work with the CEO in the development of annual contract administration, creation, and management.Supervise staff that are responsible for school administrationImplementation of all applicable state, federal, and local laws and regulationsDevelopment of weekly financial reports on school revenue.Development of weekly expense reports of school expenses requiring reimbursementOther daily/weekly/monthly tasks:Daily reportWeekly Chart AuditsWeekly Financial Reports of Expected RevenueOpen Personnel Position Report - Weekly
