    Description
    Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required. Visionist has an exciting new opportunity for a Systems Administrator. You will join our small IT team and growing company to support our headquarter operations.

    As a Visionist engineer supporting our IT infrastructure, you work with a variety or technologies and systems across multiple locations in our building for operations staff, as well as prime and subcontractor staff on site.

    If you have a can-do attitude, willingness to learn, and a desire to get hands on with running cables, setting up desks, and racking equipment, then this is the spot for you For over 13 years, Visionist has been solving the Intelligence Community's toughest software and analysis challenges.

    We embed small engineering teams with analysts to rapidly identify and solve mission capability gaps playing a critical role in defending our nation's cyber infrastructure & providing expertise in malware analysis, attribution, mapping adversarial infrastructure, pen testing, and operational planning.

    Your contributions are...
    • Maintain, configure, and support the reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization in both unclassified and classified spaces
    • Respond to help desk tickets, install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
    • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors, document problems and resolutions, and assess the impact of issues
    • Perform backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
    • Support capacity, storage planning, database performance, and emerging CMMC L3 and NIST compliance measures Requirements for your new career...
    • Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
    (Additional 5 years of experience may substitute degree) - 5 years of experience in systems administration - Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols - Familiarity with:
    Linux Ubuntu, Microsoft Windows, Server, and Active Directory, VMware products, Cisco networking products, and Citrix
