    LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a local property management organization to hire an Assistant Community Manager for their SW Portland, OR property. If you have been in leasing and looking to take the next step in your career, or if you are looking for a change, this is a great opportunity that can start immediately. We are seeking candidates with at least 6 months of experience working in the property management industry, and even bigger plus if you have experience with HUD, LIHTC or similar properties.

    Position Details:

    • Industry: Residential Property Management
    • Duration: 2-3 month contract (with potential to be extended or turn permanent)
    • Pay: $20-$25 per hour DOE
    • Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
    • Location: Onsite in SW Portland, OR (parking provided)

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Community Manager with daily property operations
    • Create and send tenant notices
    • Respond to any concerns or questions from tenants and escalate as needed
    • Collect rent payments and provide receipts
    • Update the CRM with tenant changes, requests, etc
    • Assist with move-in and move-out procedures

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • 6 months or more of experience working in the property management Industry
    • Not required, but big plus if you have worked in the HUD or LIHTC space
    • Experience using a property management system such as AppFolio, Yardi, Tenant Tech or similar is ideal, or the ability to learn a new system
    • Strong customer service and communication skills
    • Reliability very important
    Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
