Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience and required certifications to perform interventional radiology and invasive cardiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work in a community hospital catheterization lab setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call required 1 day per week and every 4th weekend as part of a rotation
• Procedures include interventional radiology and invasive cardiology
• Utilizes Siemens imaging equipment and Epic EMR
• Responsibilities include performing and assisting with interventional radiology and invasive cardiology procedures
• Adhere to infection prevention and radiation safety protocols
• Scrubs or dress code to be determined by hospital policy
• Candidates within a 50 mile radius are accepted as locals
• Two professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years are required for consideration
• Comprehensive 7-year work history and explanation for any gaps required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Radiology Technologist, with at least 2 years in a Cath Lab required
• Current ACLS, BLS, CRT, and Flouro Permit required
• Experience with adult acute care and bedside or portable procedures required
• Proficiency with infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, radiation safety, and preparation or administration of contrast media
• Experience with Siemens imaging equipment and documentation in Epic EMR required
• Community hospital experience required
• First-time travelers will be considered
• License required if applicable
