    Description

    Essential Responsibilities:

  • Review bank loan documentation for proper regulatory and financial reporting
  • Review bank produced analytic reports for research and correction of errors.
  • Use knowledge of documentation to watch for consistent errors or trends that require additional employee training.
  • Stay abreast of both internal and external requirements for proper documentation and coding.
  • Assisting with other job tasks and projects as needed.
  • Adheres to applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
  • Minimum Required Skills & Competencies:

  • High School graduate degree or equivalent
  • Critical thinking with the ability to analyze consumer and commercial loan documentation
  • Experienced in consumer or commercial loan origination, documentation, or servicing.
  • Exquisite member service skills with internal members.
  • Must be efficient, organized, and able to navigate between tasks quickly.
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft products and able to learn and use new technology.
  • Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Towne Bank systems and loan documentation processes
  • Previous experience in a review, audit, or compliance department position
  • College degree in related field to position
  • Physical Requirements:

  • Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
  • Exert up to pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time.
  • Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
  • Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
