- We connect patients to physicians in new and differentiated ways as part of Optum and with our new Specialty Management Solutions business.
- We have pioneered a physician-led, multi-site model of practice solutions that restores physician agency by aligning incentives to support growth and transition to value-based care.
- We lead the industry in value-based payment solutions through our Global 1 bundled payment convener, that provides easy predictable billing to patients.
- We help physicians address everything beyond surgical procedures, including anesthesia and ancillary service lines.
- Develop a residency plan with preceptor
- Operations: the resident will be responsible for getting involved in daily operations at the local level (ASC facility or local office)
- Rotations: Include but are not limited to financial operations, payor engagement, development, supply chain operations, human resources, quality, and legal. Resident will complete rotations template they receive during on-boarding.
- Project Based: The resident will be both responsible for seeking project work as well as delegated project opportunity based on the strengths and interest of the resident and enterprise needs.
- The resident will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing and on-boarding the following years residents
- Corporate Leadership: The resident will have the opportunity and be required to travel to SCA leadership meetings to obtain insight on strategic initiatives while gaining exposure through shadowing leaders and various preceptors.
- Graduate of a CAHME or AACSB accredited MHA/MSHA/MHSA program
- Possess a comprehensive knowledge of healthcare business management, operations, and administration, understand clinical practice management, a foundation for healthcare finances, managed care and supply chain.
- Possess drive and ambition, eager to learn, a self-starter and willing to relocate/travel.
