    Job Title: Program Director (Tour Director)

    We are seeking experienced Tour Directors to lead our Alaska Escorted Tours, providing unforgettable experiences for our travelers.

    Alaskan Discovery (11 Days)

    • Fairbanks
    • Denali
    • Talkeetna
    • Seward
    • Anchorage
    • Juneau (Pre-extension)
    • Valdez (Post-extension)

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    Requirements

    • 3-5 years of experience leading tours in Alaska
    • Passion for Alaska, its people, culture, and traditions
    • Knowledge of Alaska's history, everyday life, nature, and culture
    • Flexibility, teamwork, and leadership skills
    • Ability to make quick decisions in response to last-minute changes

    Responsibilities

    • In charge of the quality of the entire program and delivering an unforgettable experience to travelers
    • Delivering all information about the destination/program/schedule
    • Understanding traveler expectations and focusing on their enjoyment of the trip
    • Reconfirming services with vendors
    • Representing GCT and maintaining relationships with vendors
    • Listening to passenger feedback and communicating with GCT Office

    What We Offer

    • Competitive hourly wage
    • $6-$8 per person per day tipping (group size 35-42 travelers)
    • 35% Excellence Incentive per departure (Approx $1000 per departure)
