- Assist with financial analysis and reporting
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Conduct research on accounting standards and regulations (GAAP)
- Assist with financial management tasks, such as budgeting and forecasting
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy
- Support the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents
- Perform double entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records
- Bachelor degree required in either Accounting/Finance
- Proficiency in double entry bookkeeping
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
- Knowledge of journal entries and financial statement preparation
- Familiarity with financial services industry and related regulations
- Understanding of wills, trusts, and estate law is a plus
- Excellent financial management skills
- Strong financial acumen and attention to detail
- Ability to work with debits and credits effectively
