Entry Level Accountant - Charlotte, United States - Associate Staffing

Description

• Assist with financial analysis and reporting
• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements
• Conduct research on accounting standards and regulations (GAAP)
• Assist with financial management tasks, such as budgeting and forecasting
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy
• Support the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents
• Perform double entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records

• Bachelor degree required in either Accounting/Finance

• Proficiency in double entry bookkeeping
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
• Knowledge of journal entries and financial statement preparation
• Familiarity with financial services industry and related regulations
• Understanding of wills, trusts, and estate law is a plus
• Excellent financial management skills
• Strong financial acumen and attention to detail
• Ability to work with debits and credits effectively
