Director of NursingLocation:
Wyoming
Our client hospital is currently seeking their next Director of Nursing at their 10-bed, with Swing bed program, Critical Access Hospital in Wyoming.
Their purpose is to ensure that every patient has the best experience when they are in their care, from the moment they walk in the door to when they are home.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Nursing Department overseeing patient care and staff operations.
Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and evaluate activities to ensure high-quality care delivery.
Provide mentorship and support to team for their professional development.
Administer approximately 17 FTEs
Direct reports include IP/Employee Health RN, Trauma Coordinator, Social Services/Case Manager, Pharmacy, all RNs, LPNs and CNAs
Requirements:
3+ years of clinical nursing experience
5+ years of nursing leadership experience
RN with a BSN
The ideal leader for this role must have a working knowledge of billing/coding and clinical documentation integrity
