- Surgical Tech position with 12-hour day shifts, covering every third weekend
- Retrieve and review case cart to ensure availability of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment
- Prepare sterile supplies using aseptic technique for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons by scrubbing in, wearing sterile attire, and preparing the surgical field
- Assemble equipment and anticipate needs during surgical procedures
- Efficiently handle instrumentation and maintain sterile fields
- Assist in patient positioning, tissue retraction, and patient transfers
- Follow hospital policies, communicate effectively, and function in patient crisis situations
- Participate in counting procedures, patient stabilization, and infection control protocols
- Basic computer skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English

Job Description:
Education/Experience:
Required: Graduate of accredited Surgical Technologists school or program; or employed as Surgical Technologist before July 1, 2013
Preferred: Minimum one year of operating room scrub experience
Required: Obtain Surgical Technician Certification within 12 months of graduation
Preferred: Possess current Surgical Technician Certification
Required: Basic Life Support certification
Note: Certain Technologists exempt from certification requirement based on prior employment
Vaccination Requirement: All staff must be vaccinated against influenza and COVID-19
