    Description: Exciting opportunity for a Hybrid Speech and Language Pathologist to join us on a Full-Time basis with a partially virtual schedule.

    Terms of Employment: 10-month temporary role available for talented individuals joining us after the start of the 24-25 school year

    Reports to: Building Principal - to be designated

    Salary: Competitive salary aligned with current teacher salary schedule, complemented by a higher rate stipend

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Licensure mandatory for all Speech-Language Pathologists in the State
    • Eligibility for Licensure
    • Master's Degree required
    • Clinical Practicum experience
    • National Examination completion in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Temporary Licensure option available for CFY Candidate
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Ability to create a hybrid schedule allowing for 2 days of remote work for focused tasks like report writing
    • Contribute to planning and delivering speech and language therapy for children, encompassing various areas such as assistive technology, augmentative communication, and social language development.
    • Conduct suitable diagnostic and evaluative assessments.
    • Provide detailed, insightful reports based on assessments and student observations.
    • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEP's) and relevant documentation for speech and language services.
    • Maintain accurate records of treatment and IEP goal progress.
    • Engage in student screening and identification processes.
    • Collaborate with parents, offering insights on child development and areas requiring attention.
    • Make recommendations on service levels and frequencies in line with IEP goals.
    • Support team members in implementing strategies across all student learning areas.
    • Assist individuals in understanding different types of communication disorders.
    ?Physical Demands:

    Physical requirements involve typical job-related tasks that may be adjusted for individuals with disabilities. The role necessitates hand/finger dexterity, communication, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity and adaptability are important aspects of the role.

    Standard Requirements:
    • Satisfactory Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse Registry Check as part of employment conditions
    • Health checks including Tuberculin Test and physical examination
    • Compulsory Direct Deposit for payroll
