- Providing diagnostic and evaluation services for patients
- Conducting psychotherapy
- Collaborating with McLean Counseling Center team members and outside colleagues to coordinate treatment.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
- Current licensure as a therapist in Virginia.
- Experience working with diverse age groups (children, adolescents, and adults)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to therapy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Description
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and motivated therapist to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join the practice of an established therapy-focused psychiatrist, including the option for weekly individual and group supervision. McLean Counseling Center provides treatment that is entirely out of network, which allows our psychiatrists and therapists to provide high-quality care, including the option for teletherapy.
If you are looking for a position with a collegial group of providers that offers full schedule flexibility and autonomy in selecting work hours and the type of conditions you would like to treat on top of high-level administrative support, McLean Counseling Center will be the right fit for you. We deliver care to our patients with the least amount of admin side work in a setting that has a team feel but is fully autonomous. If you feel that is what you are looking for, let's chat further.
