Crescent Multimedia Solutions is a locally owned Audio-Visual Integration firm supporting clients throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, and the Gulf coast region. We are looking for a motivated Account Manager for our Jefferson, LA office. The ideal candidate is a sharp, organized, and friendly professional who can work with our sales team, technical team, and accounting staff to help CMS meet our goal of providing creative solutions and a superior customer service experience. We are looking for somebody dependable, personable, and enthusiastic who embraces any challenges that come his or her way. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Generate sales for Audio Visual systems through developing and maintaining client relationships and expanding the company's current client base.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
- Identify sales prospects within assigned territory and provide accurate forecasts and activity reports to management
- Exhibit a consultative sales approach to determine a customer's audio-visual collaboration needs.
- Develop price quotations and bid responses that are complete, accurate, and profitable.
- Prepare contracts and pricing strategies for target accounts and submit all required documentation
- Develop strategic, comprehensive business plan to grow business opportunities within your territory.
- Work with the installation team to ensure a smooth transition throughout the sales, installation, and service process.
- Responsible for developing and executing quarterly sales plans to expand existing client base and generate new business to meet established quota
- Attend and participate in weekly office sales meetings
- Meet or exceed monthly GP quota
- Establish professional relationships with manufacturer sales and sales engineering personnel.
- Actively use CRM databases to complete client contact information, provide detailed notes and track pending activities
- Follow up on leads within 24 hours of client inquiry
- Other duties assigned as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves:
- Ability to understand, present and demonstrate audio-visual collaboration products and services to end user customers
- Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
- Reliable vehicle for on-site visits, site surveys, across SE Louisiana
- Ability to work and think independently while meeting deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must have clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
- A four-year degree is preferred
- At least 3 years experience in B2B sales
- Experience selling within the technology/construction/government markets is preferred
