Job Overview:
A Quality Assurance Associate (QAA) is an experienced QA professional whose main responsibility is to review laboratory reports generated within Alliance Technical Group's laboratory programs.
Occasional duties may arise to support the Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) on specific quality program initiatives such as following up on audits and corrective actions.
Pay Range:
Starting at $27+/hour, depending on experience.
Quality Assurance Associate Essential Functions:
Review laboratory reports to confirm consistency and completeness
Sign and file completed reports and notify the project and report managers
Assist the QAM with SOP and other document development or updates
Update and maintain training logs for laboratory analysts
Identify non-conformances in the laboratory and coordinate with the QAM, Laboratory Manager, and Technical Director
Participate in internal/external audits as required
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Associates Degree in a Physical Science or Engineering discipline
QAA-I:
Minimum 2 years of experience in general chemistry laboratory, or 1 years experience in an air laboratory covered by a TNI accredited program
QAA-II:
Minimum 6 years of experience in general chemistry laboratory, or 3 years experience in an air laboratory covered by a TNI accredited program
Master's Degree in an Engineering or applied science discipline can substitute for 2 years general experience for QAA-II
Detailed knowledge and familiarity of working within accreditation standards such as TNI, or ISO 17025
Detailed knowledge of common EPA Methods
Intermediate skill level (or above) in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional appearance and behavior
Ability to pass a background check
Valid drivers' license
