- Represents the company with a compassionate and respectful attitude towards patients and families, maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Creates a friendly environment and advocates for patients.
- Translates provider's orders into suitable x-ray procedures.
- Prepares patients for radiologic examinations and operates x-ray equipment with precision.
- Performs a range of patient care activities, including vital signs, intake, and assisting with procedures.
- Follows patient intake protocols and maintains accurate medical records.
- Ensures cleanliness and organization in the work area and examination rooms.
- Supports Patient Service Representatives with patient registration.
- Complies with quality assurance, HIPAA, and safety guidelines.
- Participates in ongoing training and contributes to policy development.
- Maintains CME requirements through continuing education.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
- ARRT registered and State license in Radiologic Technology or LMRT certification.
- 1 to 3 years' experience in a medical office/clinic setting preferred.
- Current certifications required based on clinic specialty.
