Sign-on Bonus for experience Nurses

For Full time nights

1-2 years experience- $3,000

2 plus years of experience up to $7500

For part-time nights:

1-2 years of experience: $1,500 sign-on bonus

2+ years of experience: $3,750 sign-on bonus

Central DuPage Hospital has three stepdown, intermediate units

All time and part time positions are available

CDH Cardiac Intermediate (3A)

* 26 bed cardiac step-down unit that is part of Northwestern Medicine's prestigious Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute (BCVI)
* As part of BCVI, we are able provide the same advanced cardiac care normally only available at a major academic medical center, but in a suburban setting.
* Our unit cares for patients with a variety of cardiovascular diagnoses, including post cardiac surgeries and procedures.
* We are proud to be in the country's top decile of patient satisfaction for over 8 years
* Cross training opportunities to the Telemetry Department

CDH Neuro Intermediate (3B)

* 24 bed neurosciences unit providing care to patients requiring medical and surgical treatment of acute neurological and spine disorders
* Neurological conditions include acute and stable traumatic brain injury, subarachnoid hemorrhage, stroke, spinal injury, seizure, and acute inflammation or infections of the CNS. Neurosurgical patients include aneurysm repair, CS leaks & lumbar drains, post-op neurosurgical and spinal patients.

CDH Med/Surg Intermediate (3C)

*

26 bed fast paced, high acuity Intermediate Medical Surgical Unit
* Highly engaged staff active in shared governance and committed to multidisciplinary rounds at the bedside

Qualifications

* Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree that will complete BSN within 2 years of hire.
* Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse
* Basic Life Support
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Ability to collaborate with others
* Strong analytic abilities
