- Licensed to practice nursing in the State, board-certified or board-eligible in medicine, and has training and experience providing services to an adult population
- Specialty certification in correctional healthcare desired
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in correctional healthcare
- Previous clinical operations management experience preferred
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and experience with quality improvement programs preferred
- Utilizes a systematic approach to meet patients' health needs
- Provides quality oversight and clinical supervision to nursing staff
- Evaluates patient care delivery processes regularly and identifies areas for improvement
- Facilitates site performance improvement plans and compliance with standards
- Monitors staff recruitment, competency assessments, and professional development
- Coordinates orientation, ongoing education, and training activities
- Interprets regulations and ensures compliance with licensure requirements
- Facilitates completion of audits, participates in quality improvement initiatives
- Acts as a liaison with other units and agencies, maintains nursing records
- Supports Company Initiatives and best practices in clinical settings, participates in special projects
