    Job Number 665205BR Description:
    Seeking a dedicated IT support person for a large software development team

    Duties include:
    hardware and software installation / de-installation (COTS and custom software), troubleshooting issues with users as they arise, assisting users with tool issues, becoming an expert in the local tool suites so that user installations can be evaluated and debugged, and similar duties
    This candidate will be expected to assist teams with daily tasks such as tape transfers, upload/download to isolated systems, and similar classified tasks
    This person will be the responsible for ensuring the software development environment is consistent across multiple installations (classified and unclassified)
    This person will be the responsible for ensuring safe migration of the user environment to new versions of operating systems and major tool suites
    Candidate must have the ability to write scripts in at least one administrative language
    Candidate must have excellent customer and interpersonal skills
    Able to blend technical skills and responsibility to user needs
    Candidate must be detail oriented and able to process multiple jobs at the same time.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Experience with Windows and Linux
    • Experienced in the installation of Commercial Off-TheShelf (COTS)based software.
    • Experience writing scripts in a scripting language such as Python
    • Experience working in troubleshooting and resolving computerrelated issues.

    Desired Skills:

    • Ability to work independently and research answers independently.
    • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
    • Ability to be accepted into Special Access Programs
    • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
    • Ability to install and evaluate COTS software products and tools.
    • Working knowledge of COTS software configuration management tools and processes
    • Creation of Technical Documentation including hardware configuration and equipment installs
    • Experience with Linux desktop environments (e.g., Gnome)

    Security Clearance Statement:
    This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Ability to Work Remotely:
    Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees
    Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
