    Job Title

    A Sales Representative (Commercial Plumbing) role is available at GEM Plumbing & Heating, a reputable company known for exceptional customer service and career growth opportunities.

    Position Overview

    The ideal candidate will expand our commercial client base by promoting our services and providing tailored solutions to meet clients' plumbing needs.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with business professionals to identify mechanical solutions that meet their requirements.
    • Provide detailed estimates for new installations of boilers, piping systems, hot water heaters, domestic hot water systems, and pump sizing/selection.
    • BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH EXISTING AND PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS.
    • Utilize company software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and generate sales reports.
    • Ensure timely completion of paperwork.
    • Demonstrate ability to size and measure new systems and replacement of old systems.
    • Possess knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and design, as well as MA and RI Plumbing code, NFPA code.
    • Ability to review blueprints and building codes to determine appropriate work procedures.
    • Contact and meet with leads provided (75%), self-generate new leads and contacts (25%).

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Prior sales experience required.
    • Prior commercial plumbing field experience highly preferred.
    • Journeyman Plumbing license in RI or MA a plus.
    • Superior customer service skills and strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly and concisely to clients.

    Working Conditions

    • Office environment with occasional interruptions.
    • Moderate noise level.
    • EVENING AND/OR EARLY MORNING, AND/OR WEEKEND/HOLIDAY HOURS PERIODICALLY.
    • Ability to work remotely with management approval.

    Physical Abilities

    • Regularly use computer for extended periods, including long periods of sitting, keyboard entry, use of office equipment, use of computer monitor.
    • Ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate.
    • Be able to communicate using a computer and phone/smart device.
    • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust.
    • MAY REQUIRE PHYSICAL EFFORT AND CARDIAC ENDURANCE WHILE REACHING WITH HANDS AND ARMS, STOOPING, KNEELING, CROUCHING, STANDING, WALKING, BALANCING, BENDING, LEANING, KNEELING, WALKING, AND CLIMBING.
    • Carrying supplies up to 25 lbs.
