    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care.

    The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care.

    Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

    RN Med Surg/Tele- Washington, DC
    36 hours weekly

    Travel Pay:
    $2,298 includes meals $500 & housing $1,150 weekly

    Local pay:
    $56 hourly

    NIHSS, BLS & ACLS – Required


    • BSN - Highly desired
    • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required prior to start
    • Med Tele Acute Care Inpatient Experience - Required: 1 Year
    • RN Experience - Required: 2 Year
    • Cerner experience required
    • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required
    • BSN - Highly desired
    • Must be able to complete a Telemetry rhythm interpretation test prior to start
    "Fulfills the needs of the patients, families and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. * Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring and efficient manner. * Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age appropriate care. * Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patients needs * Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients * Makes initial assessment, and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidence by appropriate documentation * Performs initial and ongoing assessment on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidence by appropriate documentation * Completes admission assessment in time frame established, according to policy and procedures"
