(Senior) Medical Director - Oncology (Solid Tumors)

Key Requirements:

Hybrid 3 days weekly in Menlo Park

Board certified or board eligible Oncologist (If not certified oncologist, then board certified in another designation but has worked in oncology for several years.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and medical expertise for the development of oncology therapies targeting solid tumors (Phases I-III).
• Lead the clinical development strategy, including study design, execution, and interpretation of results.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders to drive projects forward.
• Serve as the primary medical representative, interfacing with regulatory agencies, investigators, and KOLs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines, including FDA requirements for MD sign-off on patient-related matters.

Other Requirements:

• Extensive experience in clinical development within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a focus on oncology.
• Proven track record of successfully leading clinical programs from early development through regulatory approval.
• Strong understanding of solid tumor biology and the oncology therapeutic landscape.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, fostering collaboration and communication across virtual teams.
