Description

Dietary AideFairway View Neighborhoods seeks a Dietary Aide in the kitchen. The Dietary Aide performs a variety of dietary activities including preparing foods, portioning foods, setting up trays, clearing tables, racking and washing dishes, pots and pans, maintaining a sanitary environment.

Additional duties include:

Demonstrates understanding of procedures relating to food handling, dish washing, sanitizing work and eating surfaces

Follows proper safety and infection control procedures in food and dish handling

Demonstrates cooperation and team spirit when working with staff/residents/patients

Works with others in the department and throughout the organization in a positive manner of those served and the department

This position is Limited Part Time (less than 48 hours per 2 week pay period) with a schedule of 4-7:30pm, 2-3 days per week including alternating weekends. Additional hours available during the week if desired.
