Job Summary:

Under limited supervision, this position performs a variety of law enforcement functions, such as routine patrol, criminal investigations (both initial and ongoing) involving state and local laws and ordinances, and traffic enforcement.

The protection of life and property can result with the enforcement of laws and ordinances. Special assignments may be received which call upon specialized abilities and knowledge usually acquired through experience, training, or education.

Lateral transfers are encouraged to apply and may start at a higher pay step and with vacation. Position will be open until filled. Applications will be reviewed as they are submitted.
