    Automation Technician

    Tetra Pak Processing Equipment is looking for an Automation Technician based in our Winsted, MN facility. If you have electrical experience and want a challenging job in a fast-paced, interesting environment join our team and work directly with engineers and electrical designers on food and liquid processing equipment.

    What You Will Do

    • Read various style of electrical prints, pull and terminate devices in both control panels and field devices, and run pneumatic air lines to valves
    • Provide support for work requests, resolve issues with prints and/or devices
    • Prepare: wire cut lists, labels for wires and devices, cable ends for termination
    • Be responsible for inventory control of common components
    • Perform occassional field work to modify existing industrial machinery
    • Cut and face sanitary tubing and metal finishing
    • Assist with testing of our machinery

    Who You Are

    We believe you have:

    • 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician or related experience (Preferred, but not limited too)
    • Previous control panel construction experience (Preferred, but not limited too)
    • Light fabrication and mechanical experience (Preferred, but not limited too)
    • Can read and identify electrical components in the electrical diagrams
    • Understand the circuitry of the control panels and components you are to wire
    • Can identify what types of cables and size of cables are needed for each device and understand the implications of the wrong type if used
    • Adaptable to the rise and fall of workloads due to various stages of production
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
    • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks given during a work week and consistently deliver to a deadline
    • Maintain a safe working environment around you and others
