Facility is Ithaca, NY looking for a travel Vascular Sonographer.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform vascular ultrasound examinations to assess blood flow and detect abnormalities in arteries and veins.
2. Utilize Doppler ultrasound techniques to evaluate the velocity and direction of blood flow.
3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging protocols and optimize diagnostic outcomes.
4. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining the examination process and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications:

1. Associate or bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
2. ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification in Vascular Technology (RVT) preferred.
3. Previous experience as a Vascular Sonographer in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
4. Proficiency in performing vascular ultrasound examinations, including both routine and complex studies.
5. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to vascular imaging.
