    Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX, part of Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to join our Ortho Trauma Progressive Care Unit (5 South).

    Schedule:
    Full Time - Days - 36 hours per week

    Unit Summary


    This is a 35-bed monitored nursing unit that provides the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients ranging from adults to Geriatrics.

    The conditions that are within the scope of service include the following but are not limited to:


    • Traumatic Complex Fractures
    • Elective Joint Replacements - Rapid Recovery Program
    • Sports Injuries
    • Spinal Deformities
    • Hip Fractures
    • Compression Fractures
    • Pelvic Fractures
    • Skeletal Malformations and Abnormalities
    • Amputations and Prosthesis
    • Medical Surgical patients including those requiring Telemetry
    • Elective Plastic surgery
    • Tracheotomy Care and (Maintenance and support)-a Registered Nurse on this floor will develop top notch skills with Trach care compared to anywhere else in the hospital.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program

    MAJOR - Nursing

    EXPERIENCE - 2 Years of Experience

    CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN)

    Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
