Job Overview:
We are seeking a Plant Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in a plant environment, ensuring efficient production processes.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor plant equipment, including logic controllers and distributed control systems
- Perform heavy equipment operation, such as tanker and other machinery
- Conduct data collection and maintain accurate records of plant operations
- Maintain mechanical systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs as needed
- Handle heavy lifting tasks as required in the plant setting
- Assist in wastewater treatment processes and ensure compliance with regulations
- Plumb and connect pipelines for proper flow within the plant
Requirements:
Prior experience in plant operations or related field is preferred
- Proficiency in using logic controllers and distributed control systems
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain machinery
- Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as part of daily responsibilities
- Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes is a plus
- Excellent data collection skills to ensure accurate reporting
