    Job Description The Account Manager is a non-Managerial position and responsible for serving as the direct interface with the assigned customer account and supporting the Sales Managers in managing all aspects of commercial negotiation including understanding cost, quality, timing, and delivery for pursuit, current, forward and past model programs; and growing the business with each customer according to annual business plan objectives while also improving program profitability of existing business.


    Primary ResponsibilitiesCommercial and Customer Management:
    Generate profitable revenue growth in line with corporate business plans Build excellent key accounts management and customer relationships so that the company has access to key decision makers, when neededSupport the response to RFQs from customers PO processing and verification of commercial details prior to entering into the ERP system Support engineering changes processSupport capacity study piece price and tooling processSupport end-item product bump sheets processCoordinate special commercial studies and investigations (internal/external)

    Concur on overall sales strategy and associated financial impact on the projectLead Cash Recovery Efforts:
    Support unpriced part issuesVerify index-based material piece price adjustmentsCoordinate other material recovery efforts, including tiered supplier increasesSupport resolution of customer late payment issuesSupport tracking parts transitioning from current model to past model

    Customer Relationships:
    Identify and establish key strategic partnerships within customer's operating systems to support Hanon global growthSupport customer presentation preparation as applicableOE

    Service Parts Support:

    Serve as OE Service lead for assigned customer accountCoordinate back-up detail for transition from current model Service pricing to past model Service pricingDesired Competencies, Experience, & Qualifications Experience gained within an automotive (OE or Tier 1 supplier) sales, program management and/or business development environment.

    Working knowledge of the automotive market (customer, technologies, competitions and market trends etc.).Ability to interpret and formulate reports with our customers in the assigned region.

    Trustworthy and acts with integrity. Ability to establish credibility at all levels inside and outside the organization.
    Demonstrated ability to execute and complete task-based projects.

    Provide business process vision for a complex organization, yet be sufficiently disciplined to ensure functional performance in a results-oriented environment and industry.

    Communicate effectively in writing and speaking to key stakeholders in the business at all levels.

    Know how to maintain a close and healthy tie between key team members and operating groups and reporting out to management.

    Strong influencing skills; able to mobilize resources without having direct ownershipA driven individual, committed to results with the ability to focus and provide direction to others on delivering key initiatives and projects.

    IT literate including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.

    Years of Experience 3 to 5+ years of experience in a sales or sales support role at a Tier 1 supplier preferred Degree Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or FinanceWhat We Offer:
