As a Senior Plumbing Engineer, you will be working on new and existing facilities. You will be designing systems for high rise office, hotel, medical facilities, commercial research and academic lab facilities. Some of your responsibilities include the following:

• Oversee the design of Plumbing systems throughout all our company market sectors including academic, commercial, healthcare, science and technology and data centers.
• Produce designs of Plumbing and Piping systems including sanitary waste and vent, storm water, natural gas, potable and non-potable water systems, water reuse systems, pure water systems for research and manufacturing, process waste, medical, laboratory and process gases.
• Lead with the design and construction teams on related portions of construction planning and visit the project construction site throughout the construction administration process along with field reports, RFI responses and submittal reviews.
• Survey existing project sites to document the existing plumbing conditions and assess existing plumbing infrastructure and prepare due diligence reports.
• Responsible for designs of automatic sprinkler, standpipes, high rise fire pumps, gaseous agent suppression, fire alarm, voice evacuation, mass notification, special technology fire detection and smoke control.
• Perform the role of Engineer of Record for Plumbing designs.
• Client and vendor interaction

Essential Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
• Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD).
• 15+ years of plumbing engineering industry experience
• Background designing plumbing and piping systems.
• Proficiency in leadership, mentoring, and engineering.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to create and modify technical drawings and specifications
• AutoCAD or Revit knowledge is a plus
• PE is a required
