Summary

The Realty Specialist is located within the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Office of Mission Support (OMS). This Realty Specialist serves under the Facilities Directorate manages and oversees all aspects of current, projected, and ongoing leased space projects within the Veterans Benefits Administration.

Duties

Responsibilities include but are not limited to lease administration activities, realty acquisition planning, project management, space planning, stakeholder coordination, and compliance with relevant Federal regulations.

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing all logistical actions required to carry out requirements in the development and project management for above and below prospectus-level leasing projects.

Manages programs to promote excellent customer service, lease administration, lease execution, and lease project management.

Performs reviews and analyses of all VBA projects through initiating, planning, execution, control and close out phases.

Monitors and controls project progress, actions can be taken to keep project performance on track with respect to time, cost, scope and quality.

Collects and maintains project information for analysis and review and produces project assessments in support of executive management decision-making.

Promotion Potential: GS-13 is the full performance level .

Work Schedule : Full time, Monday through Friday
Compressed/Flexible: At discretion of Agency.
Telework : Yes; At discretion of Agency.
Virtual: This is a virtual position. Employee is expected to report to the nearest VBA Facility based on Telework Agreement.
