    Certification and Licensure Requirements

    The following certifications are required for this position:

    • BLS - Basic Life Support
    • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required for Emergency Department)
    • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Required for RRT-NICU)
    • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (Required for RRT-NICU)
    • Tech Cert Verification - National (NBRC)
    • Ohio RRT License

    Job Details

    A travel/contract respiratory therapy position is available in Akron, Ohio.

    You will work with pediatric patients in the RRT-NICU, PICU, and CVICU.

    Minimum two years of NICU experience is required.

    You must complete various onboarding requirements, including two fingerprintings and online training modules.

    Job Requirements

    To be eligible for this position, you must:

    • Carry a valid government-issued photo ID while on assignment.
    • Have a minimum of two years of NICU experience.
    • Hold an active Ohio RRT license.
    • Include 3 years of prior work history with at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting similar to the pending assignment.

    Schedule Information

    All RTO and scheduling requests must be communicated during submission and interview.

    Unit Specific Information

    You will work with pediatric patients in the RRT-NICU, PICU, and CVICU.

    Additional Details

    You must complete two fingerprintings: one onsite for facility requirements immediately prior to start, and the second through the agency.

    Candidates working with pediatric patients must complete additional onsite fingerprinting as part of the onboarding process.
