    Position Overview:


    We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Data Migration Specialist to lead the migration of critical data from legacy systems to Teamcenter, our chosen Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform.

    The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data throughout the migration process.

    This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of data structures/models, and proficiency in Teamcenter.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data migration requirements and objectives.

    Assess existing data sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other repositories, to identify data to be migrated.

    Develop and implement data migration strategies and plans, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

    Design and execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to migrate data into Teamcenter.

    Validate migrated data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with defined quality standards.

    Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues, working closely with stakeholders and IT teams as needed.

    Document migration processes, procedures, and outcomes for future reference and auditing purposes.

    Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate a smooth transition to the new system.

    Continuously monitor data quality and integrity post-migration, addressing any discrepancies or anomalies promptly.


    Qualifications:
    Proven experience 7+ in data migration projects, with a focus on PLM systems such as Teamcenter.

    SQL, Python, TCXML development experience

    In-depth knowledge of data migration best practices, methodologies, and tools.

    Strong understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and SQL queries.

    Proficiency in Teamcenter, including data model configuration, workflows, and customization.

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

    Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.

    Experience with other PLM systems and CAD/CAM software (desirable).
