Elford Dentistry is a single doctor private dental office with a long standing presence in the West Dearborn community.
We are currently looking for a Dental Hygienist
Our practice offers an opportunity to practice dental hygiene 1 or 2 days per week in a personal, low key, supportive environment. If you are new to the profession, tired of corporate 'power hygiene', or currently in a toxic work environment, we offer you a great work/life balance working 3 days/week. The Dental Hygienist is the chief preventive provider of our Practice. This team member motivates, educates, and provides excellent care and treatment. As a Dental Hygienist, you play an integral role in assisting patients in achieving and maintaining optimal oral health. We believe in setting the standard of high-quality oral health care for our patients. As a dentist, I welcome you as a co-provider, addressing and accessing the needs of our patients.
Dental Hygienist Duties and Responsibilities
Gather patient information and health background
Take x-rays when necessary
Prepare the work area for procedures
Clean and polish patients' teeth and gums
Educate patients on good oral hygiene habits
Update patient records
Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
Restock treatment areas
Dr. Michelle Elford has been one of Dearborn's favorite dentists for over 25 years. A true Michigan native, Dr. Elford attended The University of Michigan for both her undergraduate and dentistry studies. She has been recognized as one of Detroit's best dentists by Styleline, Hour Magazine, and more.
