    Trabajo de Ensamblador Estructural en la Industria del Petróleo y Gas

    ¡Únete al equipo de New Tech Global para desempeñarte como Ensamblador Estructural para un cliente en East Houston, TX!

    En este rol, estarás a cargo de ensamblar componentes de acero y preparar trabajos para los soldadores en el taller de fabricación. Tus responsabilidades incluyen operar diversos equipos de manera segura y productiva, así como medir, cortar, preparar y ensamblar piezas en el taller para trabajos de fabricación, mantenimiento y reparación de equipos de perforación petrolera en un entorno de taller. Además, proporcionarás apoyo en el sitio con actividades de fabricación según lo determine el Supervisor del Taller de Fabricación.

    Este puesto estará bajo la dirección del Supervisor del Taller de Fabricación.

    Descripción Detallada:

    • Garantizar que la máquina de soldar esté calibrada y lista para usar
    • Recibir materiales emitidos para una Orden de Trabajo
    • Hacer soldaduras temporales usando diferentes procesos de soldadura
    • Capacidad para trazar tuberías y estructuras metálicas según el diseño
    • Trabajar con taladros magnéticos para hacer perforaciones
    • Biselar placas de acero con un soplete de corte
    • Mantener un entorno seguro y limpio en el taller de fabricación
    • Cumplir y superar métricas de la empresa, incluyendo Seguridad, Calidad, Costo y Entrega
    • Interpretar dibujos para que la fabricación se ajuste al diseño previsto
    • Proporcionar tiempos de entrega esperados al Supervisor para todos los materiales cortados y preparados
    • Etiquetar materiales de acuerdo a los procedimientos de la empresa
    • Eliminar bordes afilados y rebabas
    • Cargar y descargar materiales con seguridad usando grúas, montacargas y de forma manual
    • Transferir partes terminadas a los departamentos correspondientes
    • Almacenar adecuadamente todos los materiales crudos en las áreas designadas
    • Contar con herramientas básicas como amoladora de 4.5"
    • Otras tareas asignadas

    Requisitos del Trabajo:

    • Conocimiento y experiencia en equipos de taller
    • Habilidad para trazar y cortar a mano con soplete de oxiacetileno y plasma
    • Capacidad para leer, sumar, restar, y entender fracciones y decimales
    • Comprensión de los fundamentos de corte con Oxiacetileno y Plasma
    • Capacidad para pasar una "prueba de soldadura temporal" según los Procedimientos de Soldadura de la Empresa
    • Entender perforaciones y roscado
    • Operar herramientas manuales como amoladoras, martillos y más
    • Capacidad para trabajar solo o en equipo según sea necesario para cumplir con los requerimientos diarios
    • Familiaridad con estándares de calidad industriales (ISO, API, OSHA, AWS)
    • Habilidades interpersonales excepcionales con capacidad para interactuar productivamente con colegas y terceros
    • Operar montacargas y grúas aéreas después de obtener certificación
    • Liderar con el ejemplo y ser mentor para empleados junior
    • Crear un entorno seguro y responder a situaciones de emergencia
    • Mantener un comportamiento profesional en todo momento y demostrar habilidades excelentes de comunicación
    • Organización excepcional y proactividad para abordar problemas
    • Levantar y transportar 50 libras independientemente en superficies irregulares

    Calificaciones Mínimas:

    • Diploma de Escuela Secundaria o equivalente
    • 3+ años de experiencia relevante en un entorno de fabricación
    • Conocimiento en interpretación de dibujos de fabricación
    • Comprensión de dimensiones fraccionales y decimales

    Calificaciones Deseadas:

    • Formación técnica o educación avanzada en un campo vocacional relevante
    • Experiencia con sierras de cinta para corte de metal
    • Experiencia con taladrado y fresado
    • Sólidas habilidades informáticas en MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Bilingüe: Inglés y Español
