- Analyze tax transactions to include income tax, sales tax, payroll tax, and other relevant taxes based on GAAP and relevant tax regulations
- Assist in reconciling tax related accounts and statements
- Process tax payments for various tax obligations
- Organize and maintain tax-related documents and records
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns with state and local government agencies
- File business licenses, withholding taxes, independent contractor forms, and other tax-related documents as needed
- Assist in annual business planning by providing tax related inputs for expense budgeting, interest calculations, and tax projections
- Collaborate with the Tax Manager in implementing tax saving strategies and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Support month-end and year end tax closing process
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with a focus on tax
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in tax accounting or related field
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel (functions such as sum, if, sum if, count, VLOOKUP, index)
- Working knowledge of accounting software
- Organized with great attention to detail
- Oversee the preparation and review of tax reports
- Consolidate tax reports
- Identify tax saving strategies and identify opportunities to optimize tax liabilities
- Prepare for tax audits
- Maintain records
- Manage tax filings for direct and indirect taxes
- Manage sales and use tax compliance
- Management of state and federal incentives
- Bachelor's degree in accounting with a concentration in tax or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years of experience in Corporate Tax Accounting
- Ability to prepare and return tax reports
- SAP experience

Salary: $60,000- $68,000
Responsibilities:
This position is a key player in handling the tax compliance of the organization and will assist in finalizing tax audits, resolving discrepancies, and expanding the team's knowledge of tax laws and federal regulations
Salary: $100,000-$110,000
