    Sous Chef Position Available at a Leading Downtown Detroit Restaurant

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to oversee all kitchen operations, from food preparation to presentation, in a high-volume setting.
    • Lead and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to quality standards and providing guidance for improvement.
    • Work closely with the culinary team to craft diverse and appealing menus that meet the demands of our varied clientele.
    • Manage inventory, procure supplies, and maintain food quality to reduce waste and enhance freshness.

    Qualifications:

    • 2-3 years of relevant experience in high-volume dining establishments, such as restaurants, hotels, or clubs.

    • Solid grasp of cooking techniques, flavor combinations, and culinary trends.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities to excel in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
