    ROLE OVERVIEW:

    The AgFinance & Credit Business Manager will be your direct supervisor in this exempt position.

    PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:

    You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of operating lines of credit for agricultural producer clients in your designated area. Your main objective is to ensure profitability and drive organic growth through strategic marketing initiatives.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Interview loan applicants and gather necessary information
    • Analyze financial status and creditworthiness of applicants
    • Put together loan packages and negotiate terms with applicants
    • Develop and implement marketing plans specific to the territory
    • Train company salespeople on finance-related marketing programs
    • Attend sales meetings to provide updates on progress

    OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Respond to customer inquiries on credit lines
    • Review customer marketing plans and market changes
    • Handle delinquent accounts and collections
    • Recommend legal actions against debtors when necessary
    • Support company goals through collaboration efforts
    • Maintain company vehicle and adhere to safety policies
    • Perform any other duties as needed

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Education and Experience:

    • Associate degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred

    Functional Competencies:

    • Strong communication, persuasion, and customer service skills
    • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
    • Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities
    • Proficient in computer skills and attention to detail

    Demonstrated skills in business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.

    Other Requirements:

    • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
    • Willingness to travel and work extended hours when needed
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
    • Participation in required training programs
