Mauldin, South Carolina area:


Drummer / Loader

The Packaging/Drumming/Warehousing employee is a key part of the compliance and operations support for Mundy.

This position is responsible for warehouse cleanliness, drumming totes, shipping and receiving of materials, and organization of warehouse and packaging areas.

Essential Functions

• Receive, inventory, and put away deliveries of raw materials, office and warehouse supplies
• Inspect, maintain, and operate forklifts in the warehouse daily.
• Perform drumming operations
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance
• Conduct cycle counts as needed
• Hand sweep areas/bins in the warehouse.
• Daily removal of common trash, Waste, and discarded warehouse material throughout packaging, dock area, and the general warehouse.
• Pick-up debris from outside grounds and gravel area weekly.
• Organize, sweep, and ensure proper storage practices are in place.
• Clean out from under dock plates and remove slip sheets from in front of dock doors.
• Pull re-samples for the lab when assigned by supervisor.
• Label and Re-label totes when assigned by supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities


Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, combustible dust, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.

The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Work area can be dusty and may at times require the use of a respirator. Safety toed footwear, hard hat, and a reflective vest or shirt is required.


Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee may lift and/or move items over 55 pounds.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and typical hours of work are Shift Work. This position may be expected to work overtime and be on call as dictated by business needs

Preferred Education and Experience

High School diploma or GED and strong organizational skills are also preferred.
