    Jing-Jin Electric (JJE) is a world leader of motor systems and electric drive assembly for new energy vehicles (NEV), covering pure electric vehicles (EVs), plug-in hybrids, and hybrids.

    JJE employs more than 2,000 employees. We are in process of launching our North America Operation, an automated production facility, in Farmington Hills, Michigan. We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team

    This role will serve as a quality team member supporting quality activities within North America.

    Act as a customer representative for North America customers and work with internal team as well as technical teams in China.

    Support and promote North America quality improvement projects including root cause investigation, problem solving, and customer responses and presentations.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Responsible for multiple quality projects in North America
    Work with suppliers to oversee and verify PPAP activities
    Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams
    Communicate regularly with customers and suppliers regarding product performance and provide support where necessary
    Collect various required SPC and product data and develop reports
    Lead all containment activities and decisions regarding non-conforming material
    Support calibration system and maintain associated records and gauges
    Participation in development of quality-related documentation such as control plans, profess flows, and PFMEAs
    Ensure document and process compliance to various requirements including IATF, ISO, AIAG and other applicable standards
    Monitoring of incoming receiving inspection process
    Verify production is producing quality products to specifications
    Tracking of internal and external scorecards to established targets
    Perform additional responsibilities based on Manager's discretion

    Experience and Skills
    Required Skills/Abilities

    :

    Familiarity with electric motors, power electronics, and electric drive modules desired
    Familiar with capability reports, statistical analysis, print interpretation, and GD&T
    Proficiency in problem-solving skills including Six Sigma knowledge and applications
    Familiarity with IATF16949, ISO, and APQP requirements
    Business travel - up to 20%
    Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills
    Ability to establish reputable working relationships with suppliers

    Education and Experience:

    Bachelor's Degree in technical or business field preferred
    5+ years of experience in automotive industry
    5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering role
    Experience working with electrified operations strongly recommended
